a drawing I made a couple years ago titled "the diligent student." just wanted to express my thoughts on standardized testing and its increased use in schools. I feel that standardized testing methods are not necessarily the best way to assess intelligence, they classify individuals and turn them into numbers, simplifying things that can't be made simple.

  1. Your thoughts ring similar to this poster. Intelligence nor success should be dictated or judged by a scan-tron. It should be measured and viewed by the life you've carved out and the challenges you've succeed in. They're also either ridiculously easy or pointless. The OGT was littered with 8th grade material, while the ACT was meaningless when it came to deciding intelligence(Goose received a 30).
